Swastishri Sri Charukirthi Bhattarak Swamiji of Sravanabelagola is no more.

Swastishri Sri Charukeerthi Bhattarak Swamiji of the Jain Math of Srikshetra Sravanabelagola is Jinaikya today.

Due to deterioration in his health, he was sent to Sri Adichunchanagiri Hospital in Bellur by ambulance. However, the treatment was not effective and he breathed his last.

Suffering from pain in his leg, when he got up for daily routine in the morning, he lost control, slipped and fell and got a serious injury on his head. Swamiji was suffering from leg pain for many days. Because of this Mr. lost control and fell in the early morning. Suffering from severe injuries, the staff rushed him to the hospital. Due to a serious head injury, he died without treatment.

It has been informed that the last rites of Shri will be performed at the foot of Chandragiri Hill in Sravanabelagola within six o'clock in the evening.
